Fastpitch softball requires certain equipment & uniform items for both games and practices. In addition to safety requirements, the variable weather in spring can make participating particularly unpleasent if kids are underprepared. The school provides as much as possible, but there are some needs that families are expected to provide for their athlete. Please keep in mind that while there are team sets for equipment & uniforms, they will be sized as close as possible for your athlete based on what the school has reasonably available to issue.

In order for players to learn and develop specific skills required to keep them safe during play, such as sliding, players MUST be in appropriate softball practice gear during EVERY practice - including softball pants. Players are also required to have 'Sleeves' available at every practice. In the baseball/softball context, 'Sleeves' refers to any sort of long sleeve warming layer (hoodie, windbreaker, compression, etc.) that the player can wear and still play safely.
