Creative Arts @ Cataldo

In Cataldo’s art program, students learn about the principles and elements of art holistically by completing various art projects such as murals, watercolor paintings, pastel drawings, charcoal sketches, printmaking, and acrylic paintings.

The first half of the school year is spent preparing for a themed art show. Art is displayed throughout our hallways to showcase the fine student work at all grade levels.

In the second half of the school year, students learn about various artists, from early eras to contemporary works. Students create their own works of art, which are inspired by the artists we are learning about.
